With over 15 years’ experience in the design field, Gian began his design career in the UK, specializing in the field of furniture and lighting design. As a young designer he caught the eye of Martin Brudnizki and joined the studio as their in-house furniture designer. His passion for design saw him quickly progress from furniture to lighting, materiality and concepts, maturing to position of Studio Associate. Following his 5 year tenure with MBDS in London, he continued to lead their NYC studio for another 4 years and has also held top positions at other studios including HBA, Affect Group and most recently with Kelly Wearstler as Design Director.

Notable past clients include; Soho House Group, Caprice Holdings, Four Seasons Hotels, Proper Hotels, MGM Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Thompson Hotels, Hogsalt Hospitality, NoHo Hospitality and Cipriani.

Having lived and worked in Europe, Asia and America, Gian has a proven track record of delivering high-end hospitality and residential projects of varying scales, budgets and design sensibilites.
